We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Street Cleansing Manager with a solid background in leading environmental teams, street cleansing operations and delivering high performance across and range of diverse communities.

You will play a pivotal role in the development, monitoring and deployment of operational cleansing teams.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team being responsible for the delivery of Waste Management and Street Cleansing operations across Sefton.

You will have experience of successfully deploying operational maintenance teams, sound knowledge of street cleansing legislation including the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and a relevant understanding of current health and safety practices.

You will have a financial understanding of all service budgets including for external contractors.

Experience of contract management and reporting procedures and giving timely updates on highways weed management arrangements, public conveniences and event cleansing functions.

Excellent knowledge and practical experience of improving standards in an operational team and delivering real change.
