An opportunity has arisen within Adult Social Care’s Client Support Service for the position of Senior Financial Assessment Officer.    The successful applicant will be responsible for maximizing Adult Social Care income so must have a knowledge and understanding of Care Act financial assessment legislation.

In this role you will be expected to lead and manage Financial Assessment teams, ensuring that staff are motivated to deliver a quality service through periods of change.  You must be able to demonstrate an ability to plan and effectively, supervise the work of teams and individuals, setting objectives, targets and desired outcomes.

We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, can demonstrate a flexible and positive attitude and has an ability to work from their own initiative with minimal supervision.  You will be able to problem solve and demonstrate attention to detail.  An ability to manage and prioritise workloads is essential. 

You must have excellent communication skills in order to present complex information in a clear and accurate manner to clients, adult social care staff, care providers, and other professionals.
