Secondment opportunity to 31st December 2025

Are you interested in professional development and wanting to advance your career? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is interested in joining the service and supporting us with handling complaints and representations from Adult Social Care, Children’s Social Care and SEND service users, ensuring that concerns are dealt with satisfactorily at the earliest possible stage.

You will help with the timely and effective response to complaints and representations in accordance with Council policy and legislation, working with complainants (and their advocate, if appointed) and professionals across various services.

You must be able to communicate effectively and sensitively with a range of adults, young people or children, including those who may have communication impairments. You must also be able to engage constructively with other professionals and work collaboratively with them to respond to complaints and representations.

Previous experience of administering a complaints process within a social care setting, handling confidential and sensitive materials is desirable. Knowledge and understanding of Social Care and Children’s Services is also desirable.
