Internal Opportunity: Technical Support Assistant
Ideal for an individual with experience working in an office, who is ready to take on the processing and validation of planning and building control applications. Full support, training and flexible working arrangements available.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide data input and administrative support in Planning Service.
- Assist in the development, support and maintenance of the division’s electronic, monitoring and administrative systems to ensure effective service
- Assist in the processing of correspondence, reports, and other
- Maintenance of databases, providing information to the Service, involving inputting details, generating documents and standard reports, and spatial data
- Provide clear professional advice to applicants, agents, colleagues and external agencies on planning and building control matters.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a customer focused, enthusiastic and detail-oriented person with knowledge of Planning and/or Building Control application requirements and procedures.
You must be confident taking the lead when required, yet equally comfortable working independently to deliver high‑quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who builds positive working relationships across all departments and communicates effectively with colleagues at every level.
You will contribute to continuous improvement, support service objectives, and help maintain a collaborative and productive team environment.
